My name is Josiah McDaniel, and I currently serve as the church’s Administrator. As a preacher’s son, I grew up all over southwest Georgia and came to Statesboro in 1999 to attend Georgia Southern University, where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism in 2003. Statesboro has been my adopted home ever since.  While I was finishing up my undergrad, I felt the call of God to pursue full-time ministry. Shortly after graduation, God opened a door of service at a local church and a few years later, I was ordained into Gospel ministry (2008). I have been privileged to serve in a wide variety of  ministerial roles as an associate pastor throughout the years. In 2009, my wife Azure and I were married. She currently works in the Admissions Office at Georgia Southern. In December 2021, I received my M.Div. from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary finishing a lengthy but rewarding journey in higher theological training.
